Your pet deserves more than just the typical quick walks and a place to sleep when it comes to boarding. That is why, I am not just your typical sitter. With your permission, I will spoil your dog, take them to the dog run, take them on the ferry, bring them to brunch, hang out with them on my balcony, play fetch with them, take them with me to the pet store to pick out a toy and treat them with so much love they probably wont want to go home. Probably ... Welcome to the doggy hotel, a place where any dog will feel welcomed and loved. For over 15 years, I've welcomed into my home hamsters, rabbits, turtles, fishes and cats. I enjoy seeing my pets feel safe, play and let their personalities fill the room. I've loved dogs (and they love me) for as long as I can walk. I enjoy taking them to the dog run, riding the ferry to nearby long island city or just hanging out at home on the balcony. You will have peace of mind and regular updates when your dog stays with me. I'm not just here to take care of your dog, I'm here to build a lasting friendship with them. I don’t expect a tip, so please don’t give one! Every dog I take care of will be treated like my dog and will receive undivided love and attention.

Howard took such good care of my baby, Alfie when I was out of the country. If you want someone to truly love and cherish your dog while your away definitely go to him! I got updates and pictures of my boy so I knew that he was doing well and having fun with Howard. It was awhile since I went on my trip but I am still thinking about how grateful I am for Howard and how good he did by my Alfie! Thank you Howard!
I actually met with several people while I was looking for sitters before I met Howard and decided he was the guy for the job, and I could not have asked for more. He was attentive and involved while I was telling him about my girl's quirks, had a big selection of toys, spoke with me about treats before giving them, and kept me posted daily with pics and updates. My dog has never been watched outside of our space before so I was anxious about how she would fare, but Howard did an amazing job, and will absolutely be my go-to the next time I need a sitter

I have a dog calming diffuser in my apartment to help your furry friend acclimate to a new environment. My home is quiet and has a lot of sunlight during the day, great for sunbathing! I also have a cat at home in a one bedroom apartment and I will keep all pets in separate rooms when I am not home. I have plenty of dog toys (including a Nerf Dog Launcher), grain free dog treats, all natural cow ear dog chews, double diner dog bowl set, and an apple air tag collar for when we go for walks. Please provide me with food for your dog. For safety, I will only feed it with the food you provide me.

I typically walk dogs 6 am in the morning and 5 pm in the afternoon. I can also walk them again as needed at night. Please let me know ahead of time if it needs more walks than this. Also please let me know if your dog is allergic to dog wipes or any treats.
A typical day
I live about half a mile away from the Triborough Bridge dog run. I've always loved watching dogs play there and I can bring your dog there too. I will wipe down your dog with hypoallergenic pet wipes after playtime. I also live half a mile away from the NYC Ferry (Astoria) and I can take your dog to Long Island City to hang out along the board walk and the local dog runs. Let me know if your dog is good with ferries.

Availability
I am an early riser and I leave work at 6:30 am in the morning and am home by 4:00 pm. I can take care of your dogs anytime outside of that time. I have numerous pet cams throughout the apartment that will allow me to monitor your pet. When I am not home, I will leave play DogTV on Youtube for your dog. At night, I will play Dog Calming music on Spotify for your dog.
