Pet care experience
I am new to rover, but I sat, walked, and groomed dogs all throughout college. I also used to drive a transport van for an animal shelter, bringing dogs to bigger facilities where they’d be more likely to get adopted. I’ve got an English Mastiff and a Heeler in my home. So in addition to giant breeds and cattle dogs, i’ve got experience with sick, older, mini, puppies and high energy dogs. I am glad to offer the Greensboro community my experience! I enjoy the company of animals and have references from past and frequent employers. I’ve got a backyard and the time to spend on your animals! If you'd like dog walking, dog day care at your residence or mine, boarding at either home, or dog washing/training I am happy to work with you to get what you need for your pet. I am great with animals and will work with you for whatever the pet's needs.

What a great experience having Houston watch our two boys! Houston went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of and happy the 5 days we were away. After a previous unsettling Rover experience, we were anxious initially to be so far away. But the photos and updates from Houston after the first day put us immediately at ease. The boys were happy and exhausted (in the best way) when we came back- and also to a freshly cleaned home! I know our dogs can’t wait to have Houston watch them again! Thank you!

Houston is fantastic! My dog, Sweet Pea, was so well taken care of and I know she had the best time while I was gone. Houston is reliable, mature and definitely knows how to take care of dogs. I highly recommend her and will definitely reach out to her again.
Wow! Houston treated Prince and my home as if they were hers. She was a great caregiver and made sure the place was better than she found. I received great pictures throughout the stay and I can certainly say I will be booking with her again!

I will always follow any rules you have in your home. I think a lot of dog training is mostly consistency, so if you’re working on something specific with your pooch, I’m happy to practice with them. I’m always happy to provide lots of treats, too! The dogs in my house are family, and we do let our dogs up on the couch to snuggle. I’m down for leash walks, potty breaks in the backyard multiple times a day, the water bowls staying full, and can provide any medication if needed. Really, i’m here to be your dogs bestie- so tell me what that looks like for your family:)

I would like to know if they have any aggressive or antisocial tendencies. I work with owners to get the experience they want. If your dog is taking medicine, or is on a diet I will work with you to keep them on schedule or whatever their needs may be.
A typical day
Dogs are family and they need stimulation and activities just like kids. I’m here to help if you’re working or going out of town to make sure your pups feel like the most important ones in the room. We can go on long sniff walks together, practice our tricks, eat some treats, maybe go for a hike/swim/run, or take snuggle naps in the sun.

I currently have a work from home job that allows me a lot of flexibility when it comes to dog sitting. Although, in joining the Rover community I’m hoping to lean more on dog sitting full time. I’m a vegan that spends their free time hiking, so i’ve got the heart and the energy to keep up with your pets.
