Pet care experience
I am a fourth year veterinary student at A&M which means I’ll be a veterinarian in about 9 months! I have been pet sitting professionally for many years. I have been caring for animals my entire life and wouldn't want to be doing anything else. That's why I've chosen to be a veterinarian and want to continue to take care of animals while I'm in school. I have over 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician so I am able to administer any type of medication as well as monitoring for any health concerns so your pet is very safe with me. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes and have dealt with a variety of personalities through my experience. I have dealt with many species from dogs and cats to farm animals to exotics and wildlife. My schedule is variable depending on which clinical rotation I am on but reach out and we can discuss what your pet(s) need and how I can help! I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your fur babies!

Finding a new sitter when your regular sitter isn't available is always a stressful process. You read tons of profiles making sure your making the "right choice". Don't stress when you book with Hope! She was wonderful with my fur babies, they took to her instantly on her meet and greet visit (and we all know animals are a great judge of character). She was extremely attentive and communicated promptly with update photos and detailed messaged during visits. She even accommodated a last minute visit around other commitments because I was late returning home. I will absolutely be booking again!!
Hope was punctual for each visit and followed all our requests for our two dobies. They immediately loved her and we knew they were well taken care of while we were away! We would definitely book with her again!
Hope did a wonderful job watching my dog while I was traveling for work. The perfectly timed updates and descriptive messages ensured I knew that my pet was happy and enjoying her time with Hope. I'd absolutely recommend her services and hope to be a repeat customer.

I like to do a meet and greet visit before any stay or visit so that we can go over your pet's needs and I can make them feel as comfortable as possible while you are away!

A typical day
I live down the street from a park so I'd love to take your dogs there if they are comfortable with that type of environment. I'd also take them for walks around the park and through my neighborhood depending on their energy level.

Availability
I stay busy as a veterinary student during the day but can spend the rest of the day playing with your pets in between study sessions. My time at the teaching hospital varies by rotation but if I’m not available, I’m happy to refer you to another veterinary student.
