Hi, My name is Hope. I’m a lifelong dog lover who will warmly treat your furry baby as if they were my own. I work from home so I am able to give your companion my devoted time & attention. My 15 year old Golden retriever mix (Zoey) just crossed over the rainbow bridge on January last year which has been truly heartbreaking. She was my shadow and furry soulmate. I’m not ready to get another dog yet but love the opportunity to take care of & dote on other people’s furry loved ones for now. I truly miss having the company of my furry best friend and miss everything that went along with taking care of her. When you need someone, I will happily take care of, walk, brush (if they like that) , administer needed medications, play with, love on, cuddle with & even sleep with your baby if wanted. Your dog is allowed on my furniture and can sleep wherever he or she desires. I used to joke that this was my dog Zoey’s home, and she just allowed me to live here and pay the bills.     I am 52 years young and have had dogs my entire life. As a child, we had a dachshund and then two German shepherds. As an adult I have had an Australian Shepherd, and my most recent golden retriever mix. I regularly watch my friends & neighbors dogs when they are away & now really enjoy taking care of furry friends through Rover. I am well-versed in taking care of different breeds & dogs of all sizes.    I live in a nice townhome in a gated community in Marietta. I have my own private backyard area to take them out to go potty. Plus I will walk them a couple times around the neighborhood daily. I welcome & enjoy the exercise as well. We also have an excellent gated private dog park in my townhome community that has been newly renovated & landscaped so that is an additional area for fun & unleashed play. I will most likely only watch 1 dog (maximum 2) at a time so as to give them my devoted attention. But I am willing to watch multiple dogs from the same family. Huey absolutely loves going to stay with Hope! He jumps out of the car and runs to her front door excited every time! She always takes such good care of him!
As always Hope was great and accommodating and Rado had a great time.
Huey had another great stay with Hope! He gets so excited when we drop him off with her. She shared lots of funny videos and pictures of him. Huey loves staying with her!
Hope did a great job and sent me plenty of updates, photos, and videos.

ACCOMMODATIONS: I live in a townhome in a nice gated community. I have my own private backyard area and deck. It is not fenced however I have a 40 foot cable attached to my deck so your pup can walk around for potty breaks. I just sit on the deck, hang out and let them do their business in a non rushed environment. If your dog needs or enjoys exercise, I will gladly take him or her on walks around my little neighborhood twice daily. Four laps around is 1 mile. I walked my Zoey on that same walk every day for 15 years. (length of walks will depend on your pups fitness level of course which you can tell me about). I love being outdoors so the potty breaks and walks are something I welcome!

SCHEDULE: I’m currently working just part time from home so I am able to give your companion my around the clock attention & care. If I’m on the computer and your pup comes to visit, it’s time for a welcome break for petting and cuddles.
