Pet care experience
Growing up on a farm, I have had years of experience caring for pets of all kinds! I would love to be a trusted friend to you and your pup. Having pets of my own and pet sitting over the years, I can do walks, feeding, potty breaks, some basic potty/manners training, and of course cuddles and playtime (my fav). I have also grown up with primarily large breed dogs (English Mastiff, Great Dane, and German Shepherd), so I feel more than comfortable spending time with your gentle giants! I know many folks can be intimidated by their size, but I happen to have a huge soft spot for these guys. I can't wait to meet your pet!

2nd time we had Hope drop in on Charlie and everything went great!!
Hope took my last minute appointment, and stayed an hour and a half (!!) beyond her designated time to try and comfort and coax my dog out for a walk. She finally got him to warm out and took him on a walk. Went above and beyond and it was so so appreciated.

Hope was AMAZING. Took great care of my elderly pup and made sure he got some love while we were out of town. She went above and beyond! Highly recommend 🙂

Safety of course is the top priority at all times. For house sitting specifically, I prefer a meet and greet before the actual booking date, free of charge (even if it is just a FaceTime!) This helps to make sure that we are on the same page about how you and your dog prefer to do things at home. Your house, your rules!

Knowing any of your dogs special needs or preferences ahead of time allows me to provide the best care possible. Whether they have a favorite toy or specific feeding routine, I want to know it all!
A typical day
I want to be sure that your dog gets the best out of our walk or visit. I want to truly bond with your pet, especially in the event of repeat visits! Cuddles and play are a necessity when getting a visit from me. When house sitting, you can expect your privacy to be respected, and your space to be left even better than I found it. With my rate includes the assumption of basic tidying such as surface wipe downs, picking up, and washing any used dishes if allowed.

I am currently a student, but most of my time is spent outside of the classroom. I can easily drop in multiple times daily, or do multiple daily walks with your pup! Although I have many years of pet care experience, I have recently moved into a pet-free home, leaving me with more time to dedicate to your pet!
