Pet care experience
Ive taken care of cats and dogs my whole life. Grew up with variations of elder dogs and puppies, cats and kittens. I dont have much experience with animals outside of cats/dogs. Ive been house and pet sitting since I was about 15. I have experience with animals who need medication/shots and animals with differing disabilities.

Great dog walker! Very responsible and my dog loved her!
My dog usually won’t walk beyond the street corner with anyone but close friends or family, but she was happy to go with Hope for the full half hour! Really helped me out in a bind!
Hope is a great pet sitter! She took good care of our Golden Retriever. The boarding went smooth, no complaints.
Hope is an absolute gem! She looked after our two cats for a week over spring break and I felt very confident leaving them in her capable hands. Hope is a natural with animals, very calm and loving. We received daily reports over the week which our family really appreciated. Hope stayed in our home and left it in immaculate condition for our return. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hope as a live-in cat-sitter and I would love to work with her again. Thanks Hope!

When your pet is staying at my home I will treat them as my own. I like to stick to feeding schedules and go for long neighborhood or rivervalley walks. Staying at your home Im sure would be extra cozy for your animal, and I am more than happy to abide by any house rules ie. no pets on furniture, eating human food. I myself am a respectful house guest, and always try to leave the home looking better than I found it!

I have no breed preferences. Id like to know if your dog is friendly to other people or dogs, if you are working on anything with them(ie. no pulling, or not chasing cars) im good at observing the quirks but going into the walk or sit with some knowledge of the animals behaviours will make me feel prepared.
A typical day
I like to stay away from busy roads and loud noises on walks. Picnics are my favourite! A good place to sit outside and get snacks in the both of us. At home I love to sit on the floor with the animals and give them all the attention that I can(without instilling problematic behaviour of course)

I recently just moved back to Edmonton from Vancouver and have a very flexible schedule. Thursday-Friday mornings to mid afternoons are the only times I may be unavailable at the moment.
