** NOTE: At the current moment I am unable to take on bigger dogs over 100 lbs as well as older ones due to my pregnancy. All dogs must be house trained and have to be okay being left out of a crate at home for 4 hours max or less. ** Hello! Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Hope and I’ve worked with all sorts of different animals, from dogs to horses, since I was in middle school. Whether they’re in my care or in my presence, I love to give them as much attention as possible. When it comes to dogs there are always tons of belly rubs, an extra treat or two(with permission, of course), longer walks, playtime until they fall asleep & the occasional baby talk. My calendar is flexible and very open as I am home 24/7. If there is ever an emergency where I need to reschedule (god forbid), I will reach out in advance to notify you of said changes. As far as skills go I’m very good with instruction. Anything your fur baby needs that includes a strict diet, walk pattern, bedtime, playtime, medicine, etc I have no problem following & upholding. I'm a Navy wife who is a stay-at-home dog mom for our fur baby Penny. She's a rescue who, unfortunately, was bred to a large dog when she was just under the tender age of 2 (she's 3 now). She has grown much since then but she is warry of her butt being sniffed and large dogs. Compared to when we got her she has grown rapidly and is becoming more confident and curious about various sized dogs we encounter on walks every day. She isn't aggressive, only vocal, and doesn't do anything. When dogs bark at her she does bark back (as most dogs seldom do), but she's just a sweet girl who was dealt a very traumatic hand before she was allowed to be a pup. My parent's older dog, Ava, (seen with me in the picture above) who is about 9 years old now and slightly larger than her, is now her favorite dog. Within a day of their meeting, she played with her and wore Ava out. It nearly brought me to tears. Penny is very sweet, and when she becomes comfortable with a dog, she loves to play. She will, in no way, take away from the time I'm paid for, I give love to all fur babies, equally, and socializing with other dogs is also very helpful for her growth. Before you book with me, we'll set up a meeting at a dog-friendly park for them to meet on neutral ground days in advance. If it doesn't go well then at least we tried and you'll have time to book another sitter. Whenever they need a stroll or belly rub or even a head scratch, I'm here :) Our 3-year-old pup has her own schedule and is taken out four times a day, sometimes more. We even go to the park for some small exercise so she can enjoy new smells and frolic in the grass or through the trees. Your pup will be joining us, of course, so long as it's okay with you! :) Whatever schedule you have for your fur baby, I will follow, to the letter. Playtime and cuddles are also part of their walks and/or visit.
