I discovered the Magic of cats when I was first gifted with their presence. I now have 2 of my own who I love and treasure. There seems to be a resonance between us that I can’t explain but it is something special. I have also had this experience with the many cats I have met or cared for in my life, many of them the pets of friends. They bring me bliss and to spend time with them is a true joy as each one is different and unique in their own way…… This is why I can not think a better way to spend my time caring for cats whenever possible! I am a part time free lance portrait photographer and this allows me a very flexible schedule for every day of the week including holidays. When I arrive at a job, I always like to greet the cat(s) with love and care so they know that I am there to be of service to them. I make a point of turning my cell phone Off before entering the home so that I may give the kitties my full 100% attention during our visit. The first thing I do is feed them as directed, making sure that their food dish is sparkling clean and that their water dish has been washed and rinsed before I fill it with fresh water. While they are eating, I promptly clean any litter boxes in the home and add fresh litter when the litter is too low. If I make 2 visits a day I am sure to clean the boxes on each visit as I know how much the cats appreciate it. I then make time to enjoy their company and do some playtime , if that is what they like. I also brush them if they enjoy that or just sit quietly and talk with them and give them pets if they desire. I also make time to take a few photographs (if the kitty is willing) , as I have been a professional portrait photographer for a number of years and cats are my favorite subjects!
