Hey there!!
Pet care experience
Hey! My name is Hope and I am a 26 year old special education teacher looking for a relaxing summer that is spent earning a little bit of money and hanging around all types and sizes of dogs! I lost my beloved Quickland to cancer last March, he was an 8 year old pit bull and was my whole world. I am not ready to rescue again, but miss having a pupper around. I have worked with all types of dogs and enjoy taking them to the beach. I have experience with dogs who do not get along with other dogs, so please don't let that be a reason you may be hesitant! I would love to answer any questions you may have- I know us dog lovers worry about our "children"!
Reviews
Hope did an amazing job taking care of our dog, Dwayne! She was able to make him feel comfortable in her home and gave us updates and pictures throughout his stay. You can tell she has a passion and love for dogs! We will definitely be using her in the future!
Hope was amazing!!! She was able to take our pup on relatively short notice, which was appreciated. She was timely in her response during the scheduling process and answered all our questions! It was our first time using Rover and leaving our dog somewhere other than a boarding facility. She made us feel super comfortable and confident our dog would be well cared for. She was familiar with the breed and didn’t waiver when we explained some of the behaviors we are working on. She took her for long walks and sent us updates with pictures. She was very flexible with the drop off and pick up time, as we weren’t sure what time we could pick her up until the day of our return. We have zero doubt Hope treated Billie as if she was her own and will definitely seek her help again next time we leave town!
Hope is “dogs best friend”. She takes your fur-baby into her home and makes it their new favorite place to go. Hope has cared for animals with chronic diseases, which alleviates worries for older dog owners and has enough energy to keep your younger pets exercised and happy. You can not go wrong with Hope.
Hope is our go to dog-sitting gal! Bertie loooves going to stay with her, and we always know she will be in the best care. Hope knows I love photos so she keeps me updated about their adventures! If you need more convincing, I asked Bertie to make a list of her favorite things: 1. Mom 2. Dad 3. Hope 4. Snuggles 5. Chomping on bones

For boarding, I live right off of the lake! There are plenty of paths and I love taking dogs to the beach. I also have a fenced in yard for dogs that are not able to be around other dogs or walked. (I have worked with dogs of all demeanors and am happy to accommodate!)
