Pet care experience
I grew up surrounded by animals of all species, sizes, and personalities. I connect well with most of the animals I meet, from rats and reptiles, to cats and dogs. I promise to be accommodating of your pet's specific needs and temperament, and I am eager to show your four-legged companion a fun time. I live in the downtown area and frequently walk/bike to most neighborhoods in Portland. I enjoy hiking as well, and would love to bring your furry friend along on my next adventure! That said, if your pup prefers a gentle walk in a quiet neighborhood or an afternoon at the dog park, let me know! I want both you and your fur-child to be happy and eager to see me again.

I like to be informed of a dog's general temperament before meeting them so I can be best prepared. Please let me know of any health or dietary issues your dog faces, foods to avoid and places to avoid. For example: was your dog bitten or injured at a specific park? Do they get nervous around water? Hate the sound of cars? Etc., etc. All of these details will help me cultivate a more rewarding experience for your dog. I like to provide treats as well, please let me know if this is an issue for you or your dog, or if certain ingredients should be avoided.
A typical day
I live on the west side of the Willamette river, right by the waterfront. I frequent Forest Park as well and would love to take your dog with me on a hike or jog. That said, if your pup prefers a gentle walk in a quiet neighborhood or a day at the park, I am happy to oblige. As Rover does not allow sitters to update our schedules by the hour, I am listing my availability below: Monday - available all day Tuesday - available after 6:30pm Wednesday - all day Thursday - after 6:30pm Friday - after 5pm *Saturday & Sunday - all day *I do occasionally bartend on weekend nights, but I have greater availability with these hours and I'm always happy to move things around to accommodate your needs! :)
