Hi, my name is Hope, and I am originally from Crested Butte, Colorado. I am a fourth-year college student at the University of Puget Sound, majoring in Religious Studies with a minor in Crime, Law, and Justice, and an interdisciplinary emphasis in Bioethics. I have three dogs back home. I am very active and trustworthy, and I would love to get to know your pets. I have years of experience in pet and house sitting in Washington and Colorado and can easily provide references if you’d like. I have experience with puppies, seniors, high-energy, low-energy, and everything in between. I’m comfortable administering medications, giving baths, and socializing dogs at dog parks. I have no allergies and love all types of animals. I’m a good communicator with great attention to detail. Your pets and house will be well cared for - as will your garden and plants because I have a green thumb! :) Pet sitting brings me so much joy because I miss mine from back home.

Hope did a wonderful job taking our Shiba Inu puppy Matcha for a walk around our neighborhood and fed her dinner. She met us earlier for a meet and greet, and was patient with my helicopter parenting instructions as a first time pet mom using Rover. She took plenty of pictures of Matcha having a wonderful time out on her walk, and was easy to communicate with. I highly recommend Hope for excellent care of your fur babies!
Hope proved to be an amazing, and responsible care giver. She did everything I asked from her, and most importantly she maintained my dogs happiness and well-being while I was away! I will definitely be using Hope in the future :)

First and foremost, I make sure the pets are fed and hydrated. I love getting them outside, whether taking them on a walk, throwing the ball in the backyard, or just taking in some fresh air. I also find it very important that the pets' environment is safe, clean, and comfortable!

I believe that meet and greets are a great way to ease any concerns for pet owners and their pets. Communication is key and I appreciate well laid out schedules and expectations. When overnighting with puppies under one-year-old, I prefer that they are crate-trained.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks around the neighborhood or in a park. I like throwing the ball and playing with them and also going back home and cuddling

My only scheduling responsibility is school and I only have classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. I planned my academic schedule with optimum breaks and off days in mind - I’d be happy to share my schedule with you if you’d like.
