Pet care experience
Growing up I was always part of a big dog family from having a German Shepard, Doberman, to a Vizsla. Throughout the years, I have taken care not only of my own dogs, but also helped with friends and family who have dogs. Now, I am a proud dog mama to my three-year-old Cockalier, Charlie, who is my whole world! As a second grade teacher, I am looking for something to keep me busy during the summer months before school starts again and realized theres no better way to spend my time than with some more four legged fur-iends!

Ms. Hope D. is an excellent candidate for Rover! She has taken care of my Golden Retriever on numerous occasions. She is kind, caring, thoughtful, and responsible. Hope feeds, walks, and plays with my dog. I can only hope that she will have enough time to look after my Dog now that she plans on working at Rover!

As a dog mama, I take my pup, Charlie, out on daily walks at least 3 times a day, visit the dog park to play fetch, provide food and water, and play with toys (and of course share lots of cuddles and kisses!). I am happy to provide the same level of care by walking, playing, or just dropping in to spend time with your dog when needed.

Dogs are creatures of habit, it’s important to let me know if they have a specific routine such as eating or walking at a certain time, or if they have a favorite toy or activity they enjoy. Of course, please let me know if there are behaviors I should be aware of before meeting your dog and/or if there is anything they do not like.
A typical day
Aside from a nice walk or time spent outside, your dog and I will play with their favorite toy/s. Whether whether we play tug of war or fetch, it’s important to help your dog get their energy out!

During my summer break from working as a second grade teacher, I will be available from the end of June to the end of August (June 26-August 31), Monday-Friday.
