I am the youngest of 5 kids and we always had animals growing up... but I will never forget the special year when somehow I finagled my parents to allow me to get a puppy and a kitten only within a few months of each other. Cocoa and Boots became inseparable in no time and it was my favorite hobby to train and care for them both. My passion for animals has never wavered since I was a young child, all my studying of dog books growing up has served me well in being able to name each and every breed I see walking, even the ones my friends have yet to hear about. I recently graduated college and moved to the Arlington area and was beyond myself excited to adopt a dog of my very own, his name is Togo, and we can often be found in one of the dog parks around or finding a new hiking trail to explore each afternoon and weekend. My mom will FaceTime and express how lucky he is to have been adopted by me... but truly it is I who feel lucky to have found him. I hope I can share some of my natural love for animals with your furry friend too!
