Experienced rescuer/caregiver
Pet care experience
I grew up with cats and dogs, but I've always loved all kinds of animals. I worked in a shelter for over 2 years, during which time I was in charge of the enrichment program for dogs and cats, and I obtained certification in Shelter Animal Behavior. I loved working with shy and special-needs dogs the most. (I currently have a rescued snake and ferrets, as well as cats and dogs.) When your pets are in my care, you can rest assured that they are being treated as family
Reviews
We never worry about Louie when he stays with Hope and her family - except maybe that he won't be ready to come home and want to stay longer!
Thanks for taking care of my babies while I was gone!
Very reliable and dependable.and can tell she genuinely cares for animals. We had Hope come in daily for drop in visits and was pleased when my skiddish Siamese cat warmed up to her.
My animals love her!! Always on time and sends pics and notes!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and a constant supply of treats and toys. Dogs are allowed on furniture and most areas of the house, excluding the master suite, which is the cats' safe area. When doing drop-ins for cats, I will allow time for the cats to warm up to me, ensuring that they feel safe and are well-cared for. I'm happy to care for other small pets as well.

Information Hope B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any triggers, does not like cats, etc. I have dogs, cats, kids, and small pets (caged) in my home. While I love pitties, I also need to know if they are pit/pit mixes due to local ordinances. All boarders are required to be vaccinated and licensed per local ordinances. A pet that is not house-trained may incur extra fees.
A typical day
Our day starts with a nutritious breakfast (maybe including eggs, if you allow). Then the pups have some outside time to play, potty, etc. There is always a bowl of water and toys in the yard. Later, we will have structured exercise time, going for a walk or playing fetch. If they like car rides, they may ride along to pick kids up from school. Dinner and more play time will come before bed. Let me know where they prefer to sleep at home so I can make them comfortable :)
