Senior dog experinece!
Pet care experience
I am an animal lover who grew up on a farm caring for an assortment of animals. I recently adopted a pitbull who came from an awful situation in Kentucky but is the happiest girl! She loves other dogs, cats, chickens, horses...:-) I had a special needs senior Pomeranian who is passed away in August 2019, I also had a bunny for over 10 years and have fostered kittens so am experienced with a variety of animals. I am able to administer oral medication and am patient with senior dogs. I own a very good Bissell! I've also worked as a dog walker/sitter caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have a soft spot for pitties and volunteered for a pit bull rescue. I am currently working from home so your dog will get plenty of attention. I look forward to sofa snuggles and cuddles with your fur baby soon!

This was the first time Hope watched my dog and she was amazing. I'm always a little worried because he can be a handful but she put all my worries to rest with her understanding and can do attitude. She was great with sending pictures and updates and I think my dog had a blast with her!
I can not say enough good things about Hope! She knows a lot about dogs and especially senior dogs. My Cookie is 17 and had gone downhill in the week leading up to our trip but it was not possible to reschedule the week long trip at that point. Hope fed her different foods to get her eating, adjusted her new medicine to keep her pain down (we asked her to give as needed), dealt with the accidents from a dog with failing kidneys, and kept us updated. It was easy to arrange drop off and pick up, and her location is convenient. Most importantly she really cares about the dogs in her care.
This was the first time we ever left our dog with anyone and we were very apprehensive. Hope communicated with us a lot and made us feel comfortable with Maggie’s stay. We were really happy with the care and affection Hope provided to our girl. She sent us lots of pictures and reports daily. We feel very fortunate to have found her. We will definitely use Hope again!
Hope is absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my dog Zoie. They went on plenty of walks/adventures and Zoie had a blast. I could tell by the updates and photos hope sent me, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Hope, she is a true animal lover.

I treat your dog like my own family so they will be allowed to sleep on the sofa or bed if they choose to or in a dog bed. If your dog is destructive when left alone I will also use a crate for when I have to leave the house.

A typical day
I like to take walks around the neighborhood and also enjoy hiking if the dog is up to longer walks. There are lots of parks in the area to take short or long adventures.
