HIV/AIDS CERF, Vet. Assistant CERF

Pet care experience

I don't just love animals, I care about them and their experiences. Animals work off a pictionary rather than a dictionary so it's important a dog gets as many different experiences as possible within its life time. Especially during its socialization period. I am Certified Veterinary Assistant and know exactly how to handle your pet(s) with the must up-to-date methods. I've also learned how to give animal medications safely for animals in need. Each animal also has its own personality and I feel that each animal should be catered to for its specific needs, play style, etc. I will do my best to keep your animal comfortable while your away, and may be able to provide basic dog training, as well as trouble shooting some unwanted behaviors.

Hope, a veterinary student, has a real heart for animals and the confidence to deal with even difficult dogs, like my livestock guard dog. He is very serious about his job, and can be very intimidating. Hope pays attention to details. She noticed one of our hens was limping and notified me, so I could take action. Hope is also not afraid to deal with the messy details, like changing the cat litter box, when I'm too busy to get to it. Hope is very professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her for your pet care needs.

Hope is a dedicated animal lover. She has had pets and trained pets since she was little. Hope works with my dog on a weekly basis. Sometimes Hope takes my dog on walks, and other time she works with him on his behaviors and tricks. Hope has taught my dog how to "touch" with his nose, how to turn, how to sit, how to wait, etc. She has even taught him how to play nicely with his toys: he used to tear apart almost every stuffed toy he was given, and now he has several that he just carries around and sleeps with. Buddy loves to go for walks and he is very impatient. Hope is currently working with him on patience and waiting when he is very excited and she's started clicker training with him. I am very impressed with Hope's skills and dedication with animals. I would recommend her as a dog caregiver to anyone who needed a pet cared for.

Hope has extraordinary talent with all kinds of animals. She is not daunted by our biter shepherd (we have two) she even teaches them both dogs obedience training & tricks, she is very patient with them. She is quite knowledgeable about various breeds of dogs and cats, farm animals and even wild critters. I believe she would be an asset to your company and I would not hesitate to board my dogs at your facility if she were there. Please email me if you have any questions. Christine
