Ever since I was a 14 year old kid, I volunteered for my local animal rescue. I also worked in a vet clinic in college, so I know a lot about dogs, cats, small mammals, and am comfortable with many breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I regularly pet-sit for my friends and neighbors, who have a variety of different pets, including senior dogs, high-energy labs, and a very sassy dachshund. I genuinely love animals and form connections with my clients. I like to send cute pictures/ updates. I take the dogs on nice walks, play with them, and give them attention so that they feel more comfortable despite their owners' absence. I'm also a morning person, so if your pet likes to get up early, that won't faze me! Special rates available for repeat clients.

She went above and beyond, carrying packages up to our apartment and emptying the litter fully so we would come back to a clean apartment even when we told her she didn’t need to

I like to know your pet’s energy level and if they take any medications or vitamins. It is also important to know any "quirks," such as if a pet is fearful, reactive or has preferences. Additionally, it's good to know if they have any treat/toy preferences so they have the best time possible.
A typical day
If the dog has a higher energy level, I like to take them to a park to run off some steam. If they're a lower energy dog, I usually take them on a nice, slow walk, or some laid-back playtime.
