Hi, I am home for the majority of the day and would anticipate your dog to be able to stay alone for about four (4) hours. We are near enough to Steveston that I walk up there a lot. It takes me about 30 minutes to get there when I have a dog with me and 20 minutes when I am alone, extra time is allowed for sniffing and socialization. We live in a rancher style townhouse in a dog friendly complex.Our yard is fenced completely.We are close to several dog friendly areas, some are enclosed others are wide open. Of course I will keep your dog on leash. Our location is convenient to the airport and ferry so you can drop your pup off on your way out of town.
