Pet care experience
I'm an experienced pet sitter and life long animal lover. Happy to stay in any home and travel within 20 miles of my home base of Oak Harbor. I love all critters and have impeccable references to share with any prospective client. Your mind will be at ease with me watching your furry family members! I'm available almost every morning of the week. I only work 12 hours a week at my out of the home job, so I have plenty of time to devote to pet care. From dog walking to overnight stays, I'm available for all of them. I treat all animals like they are my own and try to surround them with as much love as possible and make sure they are calm, healthy, and happy the whole time. I'm more than willing to work with high maintenance animals including senior dogs, dogs that need medication, etc.

Holly dog sat for our family last summer. She took very good care of our aging dog, and obviously enjoyed and loved her. We would use her again any time!
Holly knew just the way to tend to our two cats and our energetic boarder-collie. All the critters were happy for 3 weeks without the Family, which is an amazing thing! We are so thankful for Holly holding down the fort. The animals approve!
Holly was the sweetest with our Jake. Her passion for animals is contagious. She even sent videos of our dog playing happily in the yard. I would hire her again and again! And so would Jake!

I always insist on meeting a dog before I start care for them. I think it's incredibly important for the dog to see me interacting with their people to know that I am not a stranger. I like to know their likes and dislikes. Any allergies if that's applicable. How they interact with other dogs. I do not have a breed preference, I have cared for all sorts of dogs including bully breeds. The only hesitation in my mind is caring for a highly aggressive dog. That would probably be a job I would decline.
A typical day
Walking ideas depend strongly on where the dog in question lives. In Anacortes I would walk them on the trails in the forest land. In Oak Harbor I'm a big fan of the Ala Spit nature reserve, and lots of the walking trails slightly outside of downtown.
