Please DM me about price because Rover keeps adding versus discounting extended rates. Since birth I have been surrounded by dogs and have been a midwife numerous times. I have brought a total of 155 Shih Tzus into this world! My family and friends call me “The Shih Tzu Lady” ;) because my life revolves around my pets! I have boarded/dog sat for the last 10 years! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE all dogs and have a great understanding of their needs and the appropriate ways to care for each dog. In my mind, our pets are our family and should be treated as such! No matter if they are my dog or anyone else’s dog I treat each pet like they’re my baby! Please make sure to bring/list all medical conditions and medications. I will not watch a dog until I have met the dog and know it’s history. A dogs quirks, habits and schedules are also important , to see if it’s a good fit in my home. Thank you 😊

Holly is absolutely fantastic. This is the first time Holly has taken care of my Vinny. She made sure to meet me ahead of time before the date that I needed so she could get to know Vinny & my expectations. She is kind, considerate and it is obvious how much she loves animals. My Vinny adored her and was very upset when she had to leave! I highly recommend Holly, and will definitely request her again when I need someone to take care of my little Maltese, Vinny!

I am always home. I only leave for 2 hours out of the entire day to go to the post office or to buy groceries. When I am not home, my husband and disabled sister are here. All love and help care for the dogs! At the end of the night, my pets go to sleep with a home cooked meal, full bellies, cuddles and a king size mattress to lay their heads down at night;)!

These are questions that I don’t always get a solid answer for: Does the dog get along with other pets or people? Is it aggressive? Does it have fleas? Giardia? Potty trained or has accidents? Pre-existing medical conditions? Behavior? Emergency contact? Emergency vet? Pet insurance?
A typical day
Everyday we walk my neighborhood or at the local dog park. I also love taking my dogs and other pets (if the parents allow) to go “bye-byes” in the car. I let them take naps with me, hand feed them and bring them with me shopping, to a restaurant, a carnival or Starbucks with me! I just honestly look at myself as a big dog :)!

As an owner of 3 Shih Tzus with one being old and handicapped, and another rescued-I spend hours caring for my babies and ensuring that they are taken care of and feel/know that they are very very loved! No matter their needs, the pets come first!
