I grew up in a multi dog household my whole life and currently have 5 of my own dogs. I've been volunteering at ACCT Philly (Philadelphia's open intake dog shelter) for over 7 years which consists of me walking, training and socializing dogs, promoting them for rescue and attending adoption events with them. I have a large amount of experience with dog behavior & training with all sizes and breeds of dogs. I've attended workshops on dog behavior and am skilled in recognizing behavioral cues. I also foster dogs through various rescues and have had over 20 foster dogs that I've found homes for (and 2 foster fails, which is the reason i have 5 dogs now lol). And honestly, I just really love dogs. It makes me happy just to be around them. A note regarding pet sitting- any dogs staying at my house will be kept separate from my dogs to make sure everyone has a stress free stay. I prefer dog friendly dogs but am equipped to deal with some reactive behavior as well. Any truly dog-aggressive dog over 20lbs will not be able to stay for the safety of all involved. A meet and greet with me will be needed before their first stay.
