Pet care experience
I have been surrounded by animals for most of my life, having grown up around a cat, a boxer dog, a pug, and rabbits. I share my home with two very friendly (neutered) male cats, who are 2 and 3 years old, and they have taught me a lot about the unique needs and personalities of cats. But my love for animals doesn't stop at cats; since I grew up surrounded by both cats and dogs I understand their different temperaments and needs, and am able to develop a strong bond with them.

Left my cat with Holly for just over a week and he was well looked after and got on well with her other cats too!

I have a clean, smoke-free home that is a safe and welcoming environment for your pet. Your pet will be treated like a part of my family, with all the love and attention they deserve. I am also happy to accommodate any specific needs your pet might have. My home has 2 bedrooms so depending on your pet’s temperament and preference they can either sleep in the same room as my cats or have their own space. I also have a fenced garden and different sizes of harness so if your cat requires some supervised outdoor time I am able to provide that :) As an animal lover, I understand how important your pet is to you. You can rest easily knowing that while you're away, your pet will be in capable and loving hands. I can't wait to welcome your pet into my home and give them the warmth and care they deserve.

Let me know of any specific requirements your pet has, for example dietary restrictions, whether they get on with other animals, and anything else you think is necessary.
A typical day
If i’m taking care of your cat then they’ll be kept indoors during their stay for their safety but i do have cat harnesses and leads for use in my garden if you insist on them getting some fresh air?I have many cat beds and toys throughout the house that your cat can enjoy either on their own or with me. I also have 3 litter trays in different rooms of the house that are cleaned twice a day so they always have a safe and hygienic environment. I feed both of my cats twice a day (once at 8am and once at 6pm) with clean water available 24/7. I have both wet and dry food available and typically stock either whiska’s or tesco so if you’re fine with your cat eating that then i will provide the food at no extra cost but if you require specific food for them then please bring with you enough for the stay. At nighttime your cat is welcome to sleep wherever they are most comfortable, if you’d prefer them to have their own room away from my cats at night then that can be arranged but if you’re happy for them to free roam around the house and sleep in bed with my other cats then i’m fine with that also.

Availability
As a housewife, I am privileged to devote my full attention to the animals in my care. Your pet will not only have constant companionship but also receive frequent playtime, exercise, and timely feeding. Being at home full-time allows me to observe your pet closely and ensure any potential issues are addressed immediately. It also means I am able to reply to any questions you may have very quickly and I’m able to provide you with daily updates and pictures of your fur baby. I’m available for boarding most days and am happy to offer discounts for extended stays.
