Pet care experience
I grew up in a small town on the central coast on my family's ranch. I've owned and taken care of a variety of different animals and dreamed of having an animal sanctuary as a little girl. From taking care of barn cats, assisting with dog training, and competing in competitions with my horse, I am no stranger to creatures big and small. At 5 years old, my first family dogs were two Old English Mastiffs. Full grown our female was 195 pounds and our male was 210 pounds. At one point my family had 6 cats, 3 indoor cats and 3 feral barn cats which I've helped with socializing. Currently, I do not own any animals. I miss having animals in my life and will provide the love a care your furry family member needs.

Holly was fantastic with my dog, Kiwi! Definitely responsible, showed a lot of affection, and even was able to teach Kiwi some basic obedience skills (i.e. lying down on command) that Kiwi has retained since. We were very impressed and would highly recommend Holly as a pet caregiver!
Holly was such a joy to work with! I have a 3 year old poodle named Luna, who immediately took a liking to her. My dog has a nervous and skittish personality, and Holly has done such a wonderful job being patient with her and showering her with affection. Holly sends me frequent pictures of my dog from their walks, and is always on top of Luna's eating schedule and goes above and beyond in providing a safe environment for my dog. I can't recommend her enough!
Holly is a wonderful pet sitter! I’ve hired her a few times to watch our cats and she’s been phenomenal! She goes above and beyond for our cats and prioritizes their safety and wellbeing! The pictures she sends me of our cats are absolutely adorable and you can tell our cats are comfortable around her and love her company! I strongly recommend Holly for your next booking!! Especially if you want your fur babies to be in the best of hands!

I make sure the animals have their needs met by making sure I follow the care instructions provided by the pet's parents. I am however against any aggressive disciplinary methods both physical or verbal.

I currently do not own any pets as stated above but know that I put my entire heart into caring for your furry family members.
A typical day
I love going to long walks with the dogs I typically watch if it is something they enjoy doing. I once went on an hour long walk with a pup just to try and exhaust them. If okayed by the pet parents I enjoy taking them to the beach or dog park as well. Sometimes I like to brush dogs and if the dog gets dirty from our time out I will bath them if absolutely necessary. However I do not provide grooming services. For cats I try to provide enrichment and play time. This varies depending on the cat but many cats love playtime. Laser pointers, feather toys, and cat nip are great ways to entertain a cat. I allow cats to warm up to me at their own pace and will not try to force them into playing. And of corse lots and lots of cuddles

I am currently part-time Monday-Thursday and do freelance work on the side. My schedule will be opening up soon. Since I don't have animals I have a lot of flexibility to care for other pets.
