Catering to Special Needs/Attention

Pet care experience

I have years of dog training experience and have cared for many animals with special needs and behavioral difficulties. Experience with diabetic dogs as well as administering eye meds, ear meds, oral meds, medicated baths, and injections. I have had many foster animals in the past year and am currently trusted to watch 4 cats for a client long-term. My home has been set up with an "animal first" mindset. Since we have many mischievous animal friends, we keep the house pet proofed as much as possible. I also believe in giving animals choices by allowing them time alone (supervised on camera) and lots of soft places to sleep.

Holly was great for our first visit. They gave good feedback about our little guy being restless and vocal before we made it back to pick him up. Holly was flexible with our uncertain schedule and our senior beagle came home very happy. Look forward to coming back

Holly is flexible, kind, and communicative, has a very animal centered home, and took great care of our older dog. This is our second time using her and I recommend her without reservation (other than I want to be sure she has room for Kona when we need it!)

Holly was a great match for us to board our older dog when we needed care last minute. So helpful and a great caretaker! Thank you so much!

I have a clean home that has seperate rooms allowing for safe seperation of animals for meals or to reduce stress. We have lots of toys and food puzzles available and playtimes are well supervised. I have cages and x-pens available for small-medium dogs if the pet is kenneled during a part of the day at home. I can accommodate owner provided cages. I try to incorporate as much of an animal's routine as possible so that they hardly notice they aren't at home. ***Currently cannot cater to dogs with destructive tendencies, severe seperation anxiety, aggressive tendencies or excessive barkers(Young puppies not included)****

Information Holly H. would like to know about your pet

- What is your pet's feeding and exercise schedule? -Is your pet up to date on their core, bordetella, and influenza vaccines? -Is your dog currently receiving flea and tick preventative? -Does your dog have any food or exercise restrictions? -Does your dog regularly have accidents inside? Please provide belly band or diapers to help manage the problem. I have some extra in size teeny and small. -How does your dog react to other dogs? Cats? Small animals?

A typical day

We have an amazing neighborhood for walking slightly leash reactive dogs safely (I rarely encounter other dogs on leash). There are plenty of trees to sniff and my dog will be happy to lead your pup to the best places to leave their mark. We have a small unfenced yard, perfect for quick potty breaks. Certain windows in the house have been covered in privacy material to discourage stressing alert dogs who like to bark.
