FAQ - Please Read Before Booking! *Please note: we have an instagram account @tartank9 where we like to post some fun photos of the pups we board - please let us know if you do not want your dog posted on this account!* What Do I Need To Bring For My Dog? Please bring your dogs food, and any favourite treats, toys, or bedding they may have! While we have all of those items here, sometimes dogs have their favourites. Will I Get Updates? How Often? Yes- you will definitely get updates! We aim to send a daily end of day recap with photo(s). Where Does My Dog Sleep? Can I Come Inside & See? We have 3 different room options - depending on availability and if your pup is able to sleep in a crate or not. While we are happy to send you pictures and show you the outdoor property during a meet and greet, we unfortunately cannot allow people inside due to liability reasons. How Will My Dog React While I'm Away? It's completely normal for your dog to participate in unusual behaviour while spending time away from you and their normal setting. Some dogs will be destructive (rip beds/blankets from home) some will be anxious (excessive licking paws/legs), and some may not have their typical appetite. All of these things are normal - and we will inform you if any of these behaviours occur! Will My Dog Get To Play With Your Dogs Or Any Other Dogs You Are Boarding? This depends on a few factors. We always keep our personal dogs separate from any dogs we board. While they are both friendly - they are more working dogs and have a routine of their own here on the farm. For other dogs during the same stay, we always take the first day or 2 to assess the dogs individually and see if we have a dog that will match their energy/temperament. If we find a match - we will absolutely let them play together with all owner's permission! -------------------------------------------- My husband Jerome and I are both animal lovers! We can provide separate areas for any pups who need a little time to themselves. We have 2 large fenced areas on our farm, perfect for lots of exercise! We have experience dealing with large and small dogs, and have plenty of different toys for anything your pup may like. We both currently work from home so your pup is not often alone. Our boarding area also has cameras so we can constantly check in on your pup to make sure they're doing great!

I had never left Gilmour for more than 48 hours at home with family before. Gilmour stay 9 nights with Holly. He was very happy to go in with her and not us. It was reassuring to know he had his own items with him and plenty of space and toys to keep him busy and happy. Appreciated the updates and pictures while we were away. She said he was awesome and would take him back any time which is good to know. Plus they offer rental of their fenced in area which would be nice for Gilmour and his cousins to have safe place to hang out in. Will definitely recommend Holly to family and friends that need long term boarding
Both of my dogs were extremely tired and slept the whole ride back home (2 1/2hrs). Extremely friendly people and would like to come back when we are in the area.
Otis had soo much fun staying with Holly! We love seeing our boy happy coming home. Thank you for caring for him. Otis may have found a new favorite!
I am thankful I found Holly and Jerome pretty last minute to take care of my dog over March break, no less! From the first update a few hours after drop off and each one after, I was relieved. I really appreciated Holly's responsiveness. They were very accommodating and made sure my reactive dog was kept separate during his week long stay. I can tell he had a great time based on how excited and happy he was when I picked him up. I would definitely use their services again.

We have converted and dedicated an entire half of our house to a dog/play area. This area also has cameras so we can very closely monitor all pups, this is also where the crate area is located for eating and sleeping/any other times the dogs cannot be directly supervised by us.

Because my husband and I both work from home, between the 2 of us we are able to fit pet care into our daily routine with no problems! We typically do 4 scheduled outdoor plays a day, with any other bathroom breaks required in between.
