Pet care experience
My fiancé, Will, and I are lucky enough to have a gorgeous and playful Chocolate Labrador, who is 5 currently. We have a huge passion for animals and chose to foster for Dogs Trust until recently, which gave us great exposure to lots of different breeds. We fostered a range of ages and characters, from puppies through to older "widowed" dogs. Our girl, Nayla, loved making new friends and sharing her fun home with them. Our families also have dogs, including a Greyhound, Maltese/Shit-zu and German Shepherd - so we have a lot of experience all round and understand all dogs have different needs. We are committed to following specific instructions to ensure that each pet feels comfortable and well-cared for - just like at home. I know exactly what it's like to trust someone else with your fur babies, so pupdates are vital. I will keep you updated with regular texts, photos and videos so you can see them happy & settled. I promise they will be treated like one of our own ❤️

Thank you for looking after Dilly-dog today. Much appreciated. He is sound asleep after all his activities. 🙂
I'm always left with a great smile when collecting my boy from Holly, he absolutely loves being with her, and she will remain my fave for caring for him
Stitch had the most amazing time with Holly and we were kept up to date with lovely photos and videos of him having so much fun! He clearly loved being with her and we will definitely be booking again! Thanks Holly see you soon x
Great communication, will definitely book again. Tilly seemed to love her time with Holly and came back a tired and happy dog! Thank you 😊

In terms of our house set up, doggos have run of downstairs which is open plan and the upstairs office, with me. We have a secure 6ft fenced garden, with a locked garden gate. If boarding in our home, depending on their comfort needs, they would sleep in our spare room upstairs with Nayla (on the sofa bed!) or if they prefer sleeping downstairs, then that is fine also. Our only no-go is sleeping in our room.

A typical day
A mix of stimulation is super important. Stuffed Kongs, Lick mats, Snuffle Mats and scent games are a big part of the week along with a mix of walks. It's important for the doggos to have a slow sniffy walk sometimes where their scent leads the way, as well as longer walks. We usually have a secure field booked twice a month, so if this falls within your booking and you are happy to do so, your doggo can have a good play and run there also. If you are looking for your dog to stay for 3+ nights, we strongly recommend booking them in for a trial night beforehand so they are comfortable staying with us and Nayla for a longer period. A long stay is a big adjustment for them and the trial days/nights definitely help from experience.

I work from home full time in our new build home. If the weather permits, I leave the french doors open so the doggos can have a nice run of the open plan living room / kitchen into the garden, throughout the day. We go out for a walk during lunch and if your pet is overnight, we would go in the morning or evening too. My fiancé also works from home two days a week where he can support with play time and walks!
