Avid dog sport competitor!

Pet care experience

I began working with my own dogs five years ago and became instantly hooked on working with canines! I find it incredibly fun to learn about dog behavior and why they do/act they way they do. I own a 65lb cattle dog rescue mutt as well as a 31lb working line border collie. I have experience with huskies, bully breeds, and more. In my free time I compete with my dogs in disc, dock diving, barn hunt, scentwork, canicross, and more. I am very knowledgeable on dog body language and will always take the very best care of your pup and advocate for what they need! I am also a professional photographer (dogs are my favorite subject) so you bet I’ll be taking lots of photos to send to you while they are in my care.

Our dog can be finicky, and doesn’t like many people. He instantly fell in love with holly. She was polite and kind and easy to work with.

Holly is new to our family and we couldn’t be happier with her and how she cares for Koda. She is knowledgeable about what he needs and it is obvious that she cares for him and has a lot of experience. He is a bit skeptical about meeting new people yet she had him eating out of her hand in minutes. She makes it easy to go to work knowing he is in such good hands.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is always a top priority on dog walks. I am comfortable using whatever gear you and your dog prefer to keep them safe and happy during our exercising time. I will always advocate for their needs when it comes to seeing other people/dogs and am not a fan of on-leash greetings.

Information Holly G. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know how your pet typically reacts towards seeing people and other dogs or animals. I am familiar and experienced with reactivity and dogs who can get overstimulated quickly. If you have multiple dogs that I’m walking, please let me know if there’s a certain routine you follow on your walks that works best for them or if either have any resource guarding tendencies towards food.

A typical day

During a typical 30-minute walk, I like to start off with some basic engagement exercises between the dog and myself so they know it’s fun to engage with me! This sets our walk up for success. We’ll find a leisurely 25 min loop around the neighborhood to walk and then finish with some long line zoomies and sniffs around the house/property for the last 5 minutes (if applicable and safe to do so). Your pup will be fulfilled and happy by the end of our session!
