Pet care experience
Growing up, I had dogs at my family home from the age of 3 right up until I left home in my early 20s. In that time, we all helped to care for the dogs, walking them and giving them endless love. Every time I go back home to visit, my mum (who now does Rover) nearly always has a Rover dog to stay, and I always help her with the dog sitting, ensuring that they are settled in, and given lots of cuddles and walks. I've also had previous experience both dog and house sitting for local friends, and they now re-book me every year.

Holly is totally wonderful! She came to stay for a weekend and took the very best care of our lively young dog and our shy, elderly cat. Holly's confidence and experience shone through, the dog adored her from the moment they met and the cat even emerged out of her igloo to be with her! Holly dealt with their feeding regimes and the cat's medication with ease, took the dog for walks and we'd give her a hundred stars if we could! Holly communicated well with us throughout and set us updates and a photo. We feel very fortunate to have had Holly to stay, we would be delighted for her to come to stay again, and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a house/pet sitter.
Holly came and dog sat our Doberman, he is a little nervous with new people but Holly was so great with him on the meet and greet and bonded with him so quickly. I am usually anxious to leave him with someone new but within a few hours of me being away she had messaged and sent me a photo and I had such a relaxed weekend knowing he had made a new best friend with Holly. Holly gave me regular updates and I will definitely be using her services again. Thank you so much!
We where attending my sons wedding in London and unable to take our 15 year old Staffie Daisy with us. My first time using Rover.com and found Holly's profile, and contacted her . Holly got back to me straight away, arrange a meet and greet at my house to makesure Daisy and Holly got on. Holly stayed at my house from Friday to Sunday taking care of Daisy. We received photos and updates from Holly, and Daisy was a very happy girl, when we arrived home Daisy was fast asleep on the couch. I will definitely be using Holly again, one very happy doggy owner ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's important for me to know if your dog has any health issues or medication needs. I have experience administering oral medication to both cats & dogs, and have experience caring for elderly animals too. I also have had experience caring for a nervous dog that needed to be muzzled in public. If any of the above applies to your dog, just let me know and we can discuss more in detail over message.
A typical day
I love the beach so if your dog also loves the beach, I'll be happy to take them on lots of lovely coastal walks. I love walking myself, so I'm always willing to check out new walks using the local footpaths as well. If your dog has a good recall and is able to be off the lead, I'll be happy to endlessly throw a stick and ball for them.

Availability
I work full time, however I do have the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week if needed. My office at work is also dog friendly (I do have to submit a request), so if you were comfortable, I could (if my request is approved) take your dog in to work with me, where they would get a lunch time walk and regular toilet breaks (and guaranteed love and attention from colleagues!) I am free for around 4 evenings per week to do dog walks or drop in visits, and on the days that I work from home I can do dog walks / drop in visits before work and on my lunch break depending on the proximity of your home to mine.
