Pet care experience
I grew up on a small farm in Ohio caring for our multiple pets all my life. Since moving to Chicago in 2013, I found myself missing my pets back home so I signed up for Rover! I recently moved to the Bay Area for a new job as an attorney at a veterans service organization. My nickname growing up was "Dr. Doolittle". I was in 4-H and showed our dogs in obedience at the fair so I'm familiar and experienced with animal behavior. I am currently an attorney and foster cats through PAWS when I can. I also walk dogs through "Wag" weekly. I am comfortable and experienced in administering medicine (we did our own vaccines and basic medical care on the farm) and dealing with various medical or behavioral needs. I know both dog and cat CPR/first aid and earned the top grade in my animal law class. I am able to care for pets while staying in your home and doing drop in visits.

Holly is great, very sweet! You can tell she loves and is great with animals. I felt comfortable leaving my dog, Judy, with her as soon as we did a meet and greet. I’m so happy I found her. She sent regular updates and pics while I was out and was available anytime I text her to ask how things were going. She left my place looking just as it had before and even ran the dishwasher/took out the trash. Highly recommend her!!

A typical day
I like to jog/hike, go to dog parks/beaches if your dog is up for that but if not, I am perfectly content staying in and keeping them company. (I always ask permission before taking the animal anywhere.)
