Pet care experience
We have been official dog owners for 2 years, but have been around dogs all our lives. We currently dog sit (off the apps) for a number of our friends and neighbours, for both short stays and long stays (2 weeks). We always ensure the dogs have a wonderful time, with at least two walks during the day to the local park, socialising with other dogs, plenty of garden time, along with a good amount of snoozing and cuddles. We pride ourselves on training and making sure we use the right cues and continue on the owners great work! Our dog (Lexy) is a Romanian rescue, who is 'petite', super loving and a superb play mate. We both work full time but from home. We walk twice a day, after work (5-7ish) and either first thing in the morning (730-8am) or over lunch. We have a medium sized fenced garden that is accessible at all times throughout the day, for toilet and play time. Lexy is always available for both playing and relaxing, she likes a good combo! We are around all the time, so constantly watching and making sure all doggies are happy and content!
Reviews
Our pooch had a great day staying with Holly, and he was incredibly well cared for. Our thanks to Holly for looking after him so well!
A very happy dog🙂
Great carer for my family dog Milo, went over and beyond to make him feel comfortable and at ease. Thanks you so much and definitely someone I would recommend if you need help with your dog.
Lovely welcome our Magnus was safe and happy. Many thanks will certainly book again.

Information Holly C. would like to know about your pet
She can be fairly nervous in new environments, with new people. So gentle, soft voices and lots of chicken will help to get her feeling comfortable. She feels very insecure on slippy floors, so having rugs/carpets is really helpful to making her feel at ease. She doesn't love being in the car, albeit we still take her on trips to try and desensitise her to it! Peanut butter and chicken will again help to calm her.
A typical day
We go on at least two walks a day and always find groups of pups and people we know to ensure Lexy gets great socialisation! We always take a ball and find sticks on our walks to throw and get her running around! At home, we play, we train and do tricks to keep her mind active and stimulated. I often work with dog TV on in the background to keep Lexy entertained!
