Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Holly and I have been working with animals for the better part of the last decade. I have fostered for and volunteered with different rescues over the years and taken in dogs of many breeds and mixes and all their quirks! I have also worked in animal care professionally and taken care of many exotic animals. My passion for caring for animals is unending and I believe they all deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. I have been pet sitting for as long as I can remember, mostly working with Pit bulls and mixed breeds. Chihuahuas, pitties, and older dogs have a very special place in my heart but I always love the silliness of puppies as well! I am working toward finishing my undergraduate degree in biology but would I would love nothing more than to spend my summer caring for your fur babies!

Holly is one of the most caring individuals I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She goes above and beyond for her pets and everyone else's around her. I don't know if I've ever seen anyone so happy to be around dogs, and her happiness radiates and the dogs in her care can tell.
I have known Holly for 4+ years through Saveabull dog rescue. She has dog sat for me multiple times, with difficult behavioral dogs as well as my personal dog. She's had to administer medications for my pets as well as ensuring they are safe. Holly shows up when she says she is going to show up and treats the dogs as they are her own, which is very good! I would trust my pets with her any day!
After living with Holly for a year, I realized just how much love she has for animals. I sometimes think she treats her dog better than herself! She keeps all animals on a tight schedule, feeds them the best food possible, is slow and gentle with them, and takes them on adventures all over Minnesota. You can really tell that she connects with dogs, understands their needs, and loves interacting with them. She is extremely knowledgeable with all things Pit Bull related and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants their dog to be more than well cared for.

A typical day
Depending on your dog's needs I plan to take them on walks to the nearby park, play in the backyard "puppy pool", go to local hiking trails (if you are comfortable with this and the dog has received flea & tick preventative), and cuddle lots!
