I love going on long strolls, it allows me to soak in much need vitamin D and having a dog as a companion is a great added bonus. Since returning home from war in 2007, I have learned the incredible therapeutic benefit of spending time with animals. Over the last few years I have spent considerable time caring for dogs specifically as a volunteer in shelters and also helping to care for the dogs of my friends. During the day I work as a theater performer for the Combat Hippies, which gives me some free time. I am also a certified yoga teacher and I work seasonally as an outdoor expedition leader as well. I am a pretty chill person and being outdoors is my element.
