Pet care experience
I've taken my friends' dogs on short walks or fed them their dinner since I was 12 years old. My friends with cats have trusted me to watch over and play with their kittens. I will be volunteering at my local animal shelter to gain more experience, so I feel more comfortable taking care of your pet!
Reviews
My dog absolutely adores having Himal visit us! Himal is so kind and is a great communicator. I am always relieved to know my dog is in loving hands!
Himal took care of my dog for four days in a row and helped me ease my anxiety while I was at work late. My dog loves her, highly recommend other people to seek out her service!
Himal is so reliable and responsive. I’m so grateful she has been able to help us with our dog! Our dog absolutely loves her and is very excited to see her!
OUTSTANDING WORK! Himal was my dog's best friend while I was away. She treated my little one very well, sent detailed daily updates, and sent lots of pictures. Couldn't have asked for a better sitter!!!

I unfortunately am not allowed to have pets in my house according to my lease agreement, so I cannot bring your pup to my house. However, I have no problem accommodating for a routine you & your pet are used to at your home! I have a doggy leash, a doggy water bottle, and milk bones in case supplies run out at your home.
Information Himal S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs and/or behavior that I can take into consideration while taking care of them. I would prefer breeds that have some obedience training so we can safely walk around the community. I would also prefer breeds that are not aggressive since I have minimal experience with dogs. Please also let me know if your pup likes to have water / treats either before or after (or not at all) going for walks. I will do my best to accommodate their walking routine!
A typical day
We will walk around White Coat neighborhood (& possibly Collegetown), which will have different scents for your pup to sniff out and explore. Genesee Valley Park has a nice trail with plenty of surrounding grass space to toss a tennis ball or frisbee around (if you allow your pup to do so under my supervision). Both places have adequate walking space that will allow your pup to have a great walking experience in my care! I like to end each 'doggy day out' by hiding treats around an enclosed space (such as the living room or fenced backyard) when your pup and I return from our walk. That way, I can help your pup relax while they wait for their loved ones to return home.

Availability
I'm currently working full-time & studying during my evenings and weekends. Maintaining a good work-life balance is important to me, so I like to spend my free-time socializing or pursuing hobbies. Being outside allows me to get fresh air and exercise, so why not help a neighbor out by walking their dog?
