I grew up with cats and dogs so I have well over a decade of experience caring for animals of all different sizes, breeds, ages and temperaments. Though I do not have a pet of my own, my friends have relied on me to watch, walk and feed their pets as I love animals, am responsible, spend tons of time outdoors, and work from home with a flexible schedule during the day.

Hillary was a great dog sitter for our 7 month old puppy, Wynnston. Being able to meet in advance of our booking made us feel very comfortable with leaving our puppy with her. Wynnston came home very happy and tired out each night and was very excited to return the next morning. Hillary was very flexible with drop off and pick up timing which was very appreciated. We would highly recommend Hillary to anyone looking for a sitter!

I will be with your pet for the entire day as I work from home 4-5 days a week. I have plenty of experience with dog walking, will always keep your pet on a leash, and know the risks of extreme weather (heat / cold). I keep my home incredibly clean and tidy so you do not have to worry about your pet finding miscellaneous objects around the house. I will ensure your pet is fed, watered and exercised on your preferred schedule.

A typical day
I go on many walks throughout the day and am happy to bring your pet along for the adventure. I live next to the Bow River pathway and close to dog parks. I can walk forever, so let me know the distance your dog can handle and we’ll do it! I also understand that many dogs require mental stimulation. I am happy to help with training or facilitate fun games to attract their attention.

Availability
I currently work from home 4-5 days a week so I will be home for the entire work day. I take frequent breaks to get some fresh air and exercise so you will never have to worry about your dog being stuck inside! I’ll be sure to tire them out with long walks and lots of play. If you need someone to just walk or check in on your pet throughout the day I can be available! I live in Inglewood so from 7 am to 4 pm I can only walk / check in on dogs in the vicinity. After work hours I can go further than downtown! No distance restriction for boarding or dog sitting of course. On the weekends I tend to be camping, hiking, or skiing in the mountains so I am less flexible then. I will keep my schedule up to date.
