I will preface this review by saying that Hillary is very nice and took good care of our dogs, however there is a certain level of trust that comes with letting someone into your home while you are away, and unfortunately this was definitely broken. When we did our walk-through with Hillary, we let her know that we have cameras all around the perimeter of our home and told her that we also have a doggy cam in our living room which she was free to turn off whenever she was in the house for privacy. We have the camera for the dogs and are certainly not interested on spying on anyone. For some reason Hillary did not disconnect the camera, so we kept getting notifications of people moving around in the house. We obviously disregarded most of them as, again, we were not interested in monitoring anyone. We even gently reminded her that hey, there's a camera! But, she kept it on. Whatever, not a big deal. However, we noticed that a guy, presumably Hillary's boyfriend stayed in our house for several days. Honestly, if Hillary had asked if it was okay for her to invite her boyfriend, we would have said yes and it wouldn't have been a problem, but she did not even mention that anyone else would be staying so it really came as a huge surprise. We have an alarm system set up and all of a sudden an additional person, whom we did not meet and did not know had access to all of our codes. All of this would have been tolerable because, as I said, the dogs were generally well taken care of, but then we got several notifications of this boyfriend walking around. We spoke to Rover, unfortunately there is nothing that they can do since all sitters are independent contractors. I wish Hillary would have been more upfront and I definitely wish that she had a bit more respect for our home and would have talked to her boyfriend about being around others' property.

Hillary was excellent! Flexible, professional, courteous, sent photo updates, and took great care of my pup!!!
