Hi there! My name is Hillary (my husband is Logan) and we have been dog owners for 15+ years and animal welfare advocates for our entire lives. My main focus on Rover is to offer boarding and house sitting, however, daycare and drop ins are available if needed. I am a foster and volunteer at Tucson Cold Wet Noses (a rescue that pulls Senior and medical needs dogs from shelters), a volunteer with Friends of PACC, a trainee at Sol Dog Lodge & Training Center, and all around lover of ALL animals (my dream is to have chickens, horses, and goats one day). I have so much love for senior dogs + experience with giving oral medications and making accommodations in our home for dogs with special needs (both physical and behavioral) so if you have a pup that needs some extra special attention, I'm able and willing to provide that. We typically go to the dog park on a daily basis in the evenings, run/walk our higher energy pups in the mornings, and we frequent Culver's and Starbucks for pup cups, which your dog will enjoy while staying with us (unless you prefer not). We are animal lovers at heart (of course lol) and will make your pup(s) feel loved and safe and welcome in our home while they are here + we aim to get them nice and tired for you before pick up so they (and you) sleep well after your time away. We believe in hugging and kissing our animals as much as possible and allowing them on the bed and couch with us when they want - if you prefer that your dog not be on the couch or bed, please let me know. We have also done obedience training with all of our dogs at The Complete Canine and I have done a lot of work with basic obedience training so I am more than happy to do some training with your dog when you are out of town! I have a fully fenced yard and 4 friendly dogs of my own who will keep your pup company when you’re gone! We have a home where dogs are welcome on our furniture and we love to cuddle and kiss our pups + include them in any plans we have after work. Your fur baby will get lots of access to our backyard and access to lots of toys as well. We also have a kiddie pool in the backyard that the dogs are able to use on hot days! Some rules for dogs boarding at our house: 1. Dogs must be crate trained 2. Pick ups must be done by 9pm. If you are not able to get to my house by 9pm, you will be charged for an additional night and can pick up in the morning. 3. Since we have small Senior dogs at home, I will need to know ahead of time how your dog does with cats and small dogs prior to booking.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors to account for - happy to accommodate where needed! We have experience caring for all ages and breeds of dogs with different needs - just let us know what they need ahead of time. If your dog eats at a specific time, sleeps in a particular place, or has interesting personality traits it’d be good for me to know.
A typical day
Boarding: * We have 3 kennels in our dedicated dog space that will serve as rest spaces for your dog at our home. * Depending on how many dogs we are boarding (we board up to 3 at a time), I rotate dogs throughout the day. We will always do a morning walk (unless your dog has mobility issues), play time in the morning outside (both individual play time AND more of a daycare style play time with multiple dogs), then I like to take a trip to Lowe's or Home Depot to get your dog into a space around strangers. This helps with leash training and also creating comfortability for your dog in those types of spaces. * Your pup will have 4 other dogs to play with at our house + a large backyard with a kiddie pool and plenty of toys! * If your dog is used to going to the dog park, we do also frequent the Smiling Dog Ranch dog park. * All dogs are able to be on our furniture but do need to be invited up, so your pup will get lots of couch cuddles and if they are used to sleeping on the bed with you, they will be welcome on ours. * Latest pick up is at 9pm, fyi! If you will not be able to pick up your dog before 9pm, you will be charged for an additional night. Housesitting: * Daily walks or dog park trips with your pup(s) * Lots of cuddles! * If you are working on training with your dog, I will continue your training while you are gone (i.e. leash pulling, sitting/staying, jumping, etc). Just let me know what your training process is and I will follow that. * I will clean your sheets, towels, wipe down the kitchen and bathroom and generally clean any areas I've used while at your home to ensure your return is relaxed and stress free. * I also am happy to watch animals that are not cats or dogs. I have experience watching fish, chickens, and guinea pigs/rabbits.

Availability
Dog sitting and training is my full time job and my husband works from home so we are very flexible with your dogs care. I do have training commitments that will take me away from your home 4-5 hours depending on the day and that can be discussed upon booking to ensure that your dog will have what they need while I'm watching them.
