I run a professional, established dog day care. You should know that booking through Rover means they take 20% from the rates that are displayed! About Me: I have been around all types of animals since before I was born and taking care of them as soon as I was able to. I have always felt a close bond to our four legged creatures and have been involved in the caring of them in many capacities. I began volunteering at shelters as soon as I turned 14 and was allowed to volunteer solo. I continue that passion to this day by volunteering at the Jackson County Shelter as a dog walker. I was active in 4-H for 4 years, raising rabbits and goats, gaining a magnitude of experience in animal grooming, medication dispensing, and emergency preparedness. This isn't about the "business" of simply dog walking, but the passion to have compassion and heart to provide a safe, nurturing, adventurous environment for your best friend and family member! I recently started my business, S.O. Fetch, to pursue full time dog care while studying to become a certified dog trainer and behavioralist. Hillary was amazing for our pup. We came from out of town for a long weekend and wanted to do a wine tour so our dog spent the day with her. Hillary was wonderful and would definitely recommend her. She is calm, responsive and made our anxious puppy settle right in Wish we lived closer and would use her on a regular basis. We will be back for another visit and will definitely rebook

A typical day
My sole focus is on the dog(s) in my care which means I cater the schedule to fit the dogs' needs. For high energy dogs, multiple walks with extended play times with engaging activities throughout the day. Trips to the dog park once established that is a comfortable environment the dog is familiar with. For senior dogs, short, leisure walks around the block and a comfortable activity inside or outside. Day hikes with a pre-determined destination, a drive to the lake and training sessions are all options!
