I grew up with German shepherds my whole life. My parents made me start training my own dog when I was 13 and it kind of spiraled from there. While living in Philadelphia I trained and cared for the shelter dogs at PAWS. I would walk each dog every day and teach them things like not pulling on a leash, not jetting out of the door before you (to keep them from running away). Having trained dogs in a shelter I'm extremely aware of their body language and when they might be in the presence of an aggressive dog. I'm only 5 ft. Tall but I'm stronger than I look! (Shoutout to all the mastiff owners out there) My own dog is a 100 lbs. baby and we walk two miles every day. He's getting older now, so I'm also good at recognizing when older dogs are getting tired/sore etc. and monitoring their play. Like I said, I just want to play with your pup!
