Pet care experience
I was a professional dog trainer for 8+ years. I also worked at a professional boarding kennel during that time. Now I compete in a variety of dog shows, sport competitions, and have done national commercial work with my dogs. I have worked with and taken care of dogs from newborn to geriatric. Certain training services can be provided for an additional charge, which we can discuss together. You can trust your pets stay will be safe and secure with someone who knows how to read even the most subtle body language cues. All dogs must be currently on a flea and tick preventative for in house care. My availability does become more limited in the spring and summer due to competitions.

I have a fully fenced yard and my own dogs to keep pet sits busy playing! I always have frozen filled kongs or other puzzles for dogs to do for “quiet time” each dog is crated individually for any longer lasting treat.

It’s important for your pets safety, as well as my own pets safety that any dogs staying at my house are dog friendly, and are crate trained. I do crate all dogs during feeding times, travel, and any time I am not home.
A typical day
I am a frequent hiker and love hiking with a bunch of dogs! I’ve done hikes with a few friends with 10+ dogs at a time. I also love photography so you can expect to receive pictures of your pups on these adventures, or even just lounging around the house! Any dogs boarding with me will also join me and my dogs at any event or competition we might be attending during their stay. Dogs are always crated in the car in secure kennels.

Availability
I work from home 3 days a week which allows me to keep dogs out of crates and play inside or outside in the fenced yard, as well as a 25 minute walk for lunch.
