Pet care experience
Hilary is a professional dog trainer who specializes in fear and reactivity, feeling motivated to help owners with the frustrating experience reactivity creates. She knows from first hand experience what it’s like and the feelings it invokes and will therefore meet you with empathy and understanding with your own dogs. Her dogs, Dorothy and Wesley, assist Hilary in this endeavor, so don’t be surprised to see them! Education is always first and foremost, so Hilary continues to attend seminars and conferences held by the experts in her field to further her knowledge and share the most current behavioral science and methods. Hilary will treat your animal like theirs so you can rest easy while away. They may even join her on some fun hiking and training adventures!
Reviews
Hilary is awesome!! She has now watched our 2 high energy hounds several times and our dogs love staying with her! One of our dogs Remy can be reactive sometimes if he's ever in uncomfortable situations, and when we told Hilary she was very understanding and worked with us to understand Remy's needs. We had a meet and greet and both of our dogs immediately felt at ease with Hilary. She knows how to make dogs comfortable and help them thrive. Hilary is also very responsive and even sends pictures and updates on how our dogs are doing when they stay with her. We will definitely be booking more stays with Hilary. I highly recommend her!
Korra had a great time at doggie day care. We loved that we got updates and photos of her having a blast. Hilary was flexible with dropoff and pickup times. Thank you for watching our pup!
Hilary was very patient with our dog Libby who had recently lost her brother and we had recently moved into a new home. She was have some pretty bad separation anxiety and Hilary was great taking her out for walks. We will definitely use her again.
Hilary was great with my pup! Thank you so much!

Dogs in my care will be exhausted by the time you get them. They will spend their days playing with my 3 dogs (if that's something they enjoy. I can also keep them separated from mine at all times), playing fetch in my fenced in yard, doing training games, enrichment activities, eating Kongs and other treats, and occasionally go on a hiking adventure with me. Dogs will be crated for no more than 2 -3 hours at a time when unattended. But by the time crate time comes around, they're too exhausted to do anything other than sleep. I have Adaptil pheromone plug-ins, play relaxing music, keep the light dim, and have white noise machines to make certain that feel calm when crated.

Information Hilary T. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any issues. I can take reactive and dogs that don't like other dogs, but I need to know in advance to make sure they enjoy their stay. Let me know if your dog has any issues with crating or separation. Also, let me know of any special medical needs your dog has
A typical day
I try to create an environment your pet won't want to leave! If they enjoy play time with other dogs, they'll have plenty of that whole romping around in my fenced in yard! If not, that's ok--I have plenty of other activities scheduled for them. Dogs in my care have come with me on hikes and decompression walks, well get enrichment activities, play in the pool, play fetch, do some fun training activities, and end the day on the couch cuddles up with a kong. They should be absolutely exhausted by the time you get back.
