Do you have an elderly or high needs pet that needs extra care? Do you prefer your pet to be in a home and family environment while you are away? My name is Hilary and I have years of experience caring for elderly and high needs animals. I have experience with everything from multiple medications a day, limited mobility, and vision & hearing differences. Although my expertise is with elderly and high needs pets, I love animals of all ages and abilities. Are chickens or bunnies apart of your crew too? I love chickens & bunnies and have experience with feeding/watering and of course, egg collection.

I had never left my dog with someone I didn’t know before and I couldn’t have found a better person! Hillary went out of her way to accommodate both me and my dog. She sent photos and updates though out my trip. I will definitely be using Hillary in the future!

My home is set up for elderly small dogs as I have three myself, therefore I have a 30lb limit for dogs that are being cared for in my home. I have no size limitations for pet care outside of my home. There are no off limit dog zones here, so your pup will enjoy cuddles on the human-sized dog bed in my home office for even more access to naps and scritches. I have a large yard and woods for supervised exploring too!

I love lists and notes about every little thing your pet wants, needs, and prefers. You can’t go too overboard with me! As many details as possible helps me maintain normalcy for elderly pets and allows for me to give exceptional care to high needs pets.
A typical day
What we do on a typical day is entirely up to your pets needs, abilities, and schedule. Can your dog only handle 10 minutes of slow walking and then wants to be carried the rest of the way? Prefers to be pushed in a stroller or carried in a sling? Wants to nap in the yard while being scratched behind the ears? I can accommodate all your pets’ special quirks. Unless otherwise requested, I will share pictures and quick updates throughout my time with your pets. Feeling extra homesick for your furry best friend? Availability
I have a flexible day job Mon-Fri where I can be gone for up to 6 hours. I do have the ability to work remotely if your pet needs extra care. While in my home your pet is able to have your choice of a private room or to be with my pack when I am out of the house.
