I grew up with a dog but really started to take an interest 6 years ago when my parents adopted their second dog while I was living with them. For the last 6 years I have helped train and raise their pitbull mix and been their go-to housesitter. My brother and sister in law also have two dogs and I have housesat them countless times over the last 5 years, including providing highly specialized care for their special needs pitbull/boxer mix. Over the last two years I have also assisted my friend with many of his pet care requests, and have taken on jobs that he couldn't fit in his schedule. All of this time working with other people's wonderful dogs has made me fall in love with dog ownership. Last June 2022 I finally had my own home and the stability to adopt a dog, and that's when I got Delta. Delta and I live together in a house with a VERY large backyard and a good sized front yard. She loves to play with all humans and dogs alike, so we've decided to venture into rover care together. I am primarily looking to board other people's dogs, particularly those who want built-in doggy playdates with Delta. Although she is 55lbs, Delta plays amazingly with dogs of all sizes -- one of her best friends is a little French bulldog, and another is a large labradoodle. She is energetic, but gentle and submissive and great at matching other dogs' play styles. I have the fenced in yard space to allow your dog to roam and play freely as much as it wants. I am also open to doing drop-in visits, scheduled playdates, and daytime care.
