Hey there! My name is Hilary, I live in the Verona/Middleton area, and I am a certified dog lady :) After a brief Rover hiatus, I'm back and super excited to meet your pup(s)! My significant other and I have a golden retriever who definitely keeps our hands full, and we're also looking to adopt a rescue sometime in the upcoming months. I absolutely love all dogs; I always had at least one dog growing up. I've had experience with big and small dogs, young and old, shy and outgoing. I also have experience caring for dogs that have special needs (I had a special needs rescue bulldog who needed a lot of extra attention). I love running, so if you've got an active dog, I'd love to take them on a jog with me! I'm also up for a leisurely walks to the park or around the neighborhood. I believe walks should be all about your dog, not other distractions such as phone calls or texting. As for drop-in visits, I'm happy to play with your dog (love a good game of fetch or tug-of-war), or just simply give them some company and belly rubs, depending on their personality. I'm happy to have your dog stay at my house. I have a fenced yard which is great for zoomies and playing fetch. And don't worry, I will never leave your pup unattended outside! The house itself is a ranch style, 3-bedroom house with a large mudroom if you'd prefer your dog to be confined to a smaller area (that's up to you!). I also live close to several parks and dog parks - perfect for getting your pup some exercise! I'm also glad to stay at your house to watch your dog(s).
