Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs my entire life and I've owned several dogs in the last 5 years (a Dane/Hound mix, a Redbone Coonhound, and more). While I'd love to have a dog of my own right now, I often travel for work and to see family! I work full-time from home and have a flexible schedule that allows me to walk the pup during the day and stay overnight with ease. I typically go to the gym in the mornings and have social plans a few nights a week. If interested in house sitting, please communicate how long your pup(s) are comfortable being home alone. I'll leave it to you to let me know your preferences, as I know we each have a way of doing things. If you want me to crate your dog, happy to, but if you want him on the couch next to me for some Netflix, I can do that too!

Hilary is a thoughtful and dedicated caregiver for my dogs. They love all the attention she gives them. I trust her completely with my dogs.
It is evident that Hilary grew up with dogs and LOVES being around them. Not only does she loves dogs, but she is responsible, loves spending time outside/being active, organized, and treats my dog, Nellie, like one of her own. Nellie LOVES Hilary and I always trust that Hilary will provide the best care for her possible. Nellie has anxiety and is on a prescription medication - given her additional needs, Hilary keeps Nellie on her schedule, gives her the meds on time and takes her on lots of walks / adventures. I never worry about Nellie when Hilary is watching her! Hilary has lots of experience and I would highly recommend Hilary as a Rover to anyone.

I'm most familiar with L/XL dogs but can work with all sizes. I've had a few seniors & pups of my own and enjoy dogs of all ages. Please be proactive in letting me know of the dog's needs-food, medicine, etc. Please also let me know if the dog is reactive, particularly if we plan to walk together.
A typical day
My favorite game with my dogs has been hide and seek, though we also love fetch, a bit of toy wrestling, and throwing sticks. I'm an avid walker, and always enjoy a long walk with a pup by my side!

Availability
Since I work from home, it's fairly easy for me to take time during the workday to walk or play with dogs. I'm at the gym most mornings, and at night have social plans a few nights a week, but I'm rarely gone for more than a few hours at a time from the house.
