Excellent Booper of Snoots
Pet care experience
I’m a mom of two furless teenage boys and four furbabies: one German Shepherd and three cats. My first animal job was working at a wildlife rehabilitation center where I assisted with the care of injured wildlife. We worked mostly with raptors like owls, hawks, and turkey vultures, but I also spent some time in a cage with feral bobcats and a family of skunks. I even had the amazing opportunity to wrap a hawk’s broken leg! He healed up quite nicely. I then became a dog groomer and learned that while I don’t love giving dogs haircuts, I do love helping them feel better, so I became a vet tech and learned how to provide good nursing care to our four legged friends. I was also a caregiver in hospice and memory care for fifteen years, and then recently tried my hand at social work for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Currently I am pursuing a bachelors degree in psychology. Helping is in my nature and I’d love to lend a hand with your pups!
Reviews
Hilarie H. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.
Hilarie took great care of our girl. Took her out for a walk and played with her.
Hilarie was great! She did great with our older dog that has a lot of separation anxiety. She took care of his specific food and medication needs. Her experience really shows! Highly recommended.
Hilarie can watch our pets any time!

I get thorough notes on every animal’s day and schedule and I try to adhere to that as much as humanly possible. I stay with animals the whole time. I keep doors locked and exterior lights on and I always have dogs harnessed and leashed before taking them outside.
Information Hilarie H. would like to know about your pet
I have no issues with any breed. I'll care for them all. I do especially love big dogs, though! I would like to know if your dog is leash and crate trained and house broken. Is your dog friendly with other dogs, people, kids, animals? Is he leash aggressive or reactive to people or dogs? Does she guard her food, toys, you, etc? What commands does he know and how well trained is he? Does she have any special medical or behavioral issues? Does he take any medications? I can administer oral medications as well as subcutaneous and intramuscular injections. Do you know of any fleas or ticks? Is she up to date on her vaccines? I can work with just about anything, but being prepared is important to keep me and your pooch safe!
A typical day
Some of my favorite places for doggo adventures are Peavy Arboretum, Jackson-Frazier Wetlands, Chip Ross, and Bald Hill. I’d love to take your pup on an adventure too!

Dog sitting is my primary source of income and I treat each stay as a full time job. I commit to being with the animals I’m watching no less than 80% of the duration of the stay.
