Pet care experience
I’ve spent my entire life living and caring for animals. For the first time since our Doberman past away in 2023 I’ve found myself without a dog and so am now in a position to help others look after there’s. I know and appreciate the importance of finding someone reliable who you feel comfortable with taking care of your pet. Grateful to help.

For our first time using a dog sitter we couldn't be happier with Heywood S. We were worried Hopper may be stressed without us but we got plenty of pictures showing him comfortable and we were filled with confidence for the night. No complaints at all!
I've used a few dog sitters in my time but Heywood and his family were amazing at looking after Stanley. He sent constant updates with pics and videos and he was so kind and open to deal with. Thanks so much for making Stan feel at home x

We left our 1 year old Labrador Oscar with Heywood for the first time yesterday. We were kept well updated with great photos and they had a great time at the beach playing. I’d definitely recommend Heywood as a sitter and we already have Oscar booked in again for next week.

We have a spacious living room with a pet friendly couch. Large enough for a basset hound to stretch on. We live two minutes from Cullercoats beach where we like to go for dog walks. A walk in shower for ease of use washes for those messier days if required/wanted by yourself. 😂

Information Heywood S. would like to know about your pet
Just like people, our canine buddies all have their own needs. I appreciate how important these are and so please let me know. I will remember to ask what preferences your pet has in terms of play, snacks, likes and dislikes, doos and donts.
A typical day
We are so close to the beach and nature areas that depending on the owners wishes, I feel a walk/run on the beach is a given. Whether on or off the lead, if your dog likes to run, we will run! If you have an older or dog of a slower persuasion, a slower pace is given. Once the exercise outside time of the day is done, if your pet is coming back to stay at ours, we have a large spacious flat and a huge couch for them to put up there paws. The apartment is always warm and welcoming. Outside terrace is always a bonus for a little relax outside in the sun (wishful thinking)…or just to get a little fresh air.

I work part time from home as a video editor and so have spare flexible time during each day to dedicate to taking care of your pet.
