Pet care experience
I have had 17 years experience of caring for pets, both my own (was mom to a miniature Dachshund for 13 wonderful years) and also sitting/walking my friends' dogs (and cats). Am not currently able to have my own dog, but will love and take care of yours as my own! Your pet's safety, comfort and happiness will be my top priority - adhering to all safety standards, learning your dog's routine, respecting your preferences in all areas of care, dos and don'ts, etc. Am also a very responsible and timely person - you will never need to worry about being late or no-shows. I also look forward to providing any requested updates and pics. Available most weeknights as well as weekends. I look forward to meeting and caring for your baby!

Hewette was able to accommodate an extremely last minute request and help me when I was stuck in a bind and leaving the country. She came over about an hour after initial contact to meet Lou and see where everything was. Lou immediately took to Hewette and vice versa. She stayed with Lou over night, gave me an update on how Lou was and then left the keys back with my building office. I'll definitely ask Hewette to help out again!
Throughout the years Hewette has been taken good care of my dog Pretzel. She is the perfect pet sitter because she simply love animals and is fully committed to make your pet feel at home with her. She has a natural disposition for patience, good judgement and most of all affection. I trust Hewette with Pretzel when I am out of town.
Hewette has watched my dog, Ellie, several times. She is very responsible and can be trusted in your home. I have recommended her to several people and they have all been happy with her services. She has a loving heart and absolutely adores animals.

I would like to know the dog's regular routine, likes/dislikes, any allergies or other relevant medical information, how the dog interacts with other dogs, and also what the owner allows and doesn't allow in regards to food, any areas of home that are off-limits, etc.
A typical day
I live across the street from the Katy Trail, so that would be a great place for a nice long walk. (Or if there is another great place that is more convenient to the owner's home, I look forward to learning about and spending time there as well!) I would also love taking your dog to the dog park, if this is something he/she would enjoy. If I am sitting in your home, we will play with your dog's favorite toys and have plenty of cuddle/lap time! I work full-time, but have the evenings (after 6:00) and weekends available for dog walking/sitting. For home-sitting, I am mostly home in the evenings, so would have lots of quality time to spend with your baby!
