Pet care experience
Hello! I’m Hetty and I live with my boyfriend Ben :) We are an animal loving couple with experience of dogs and cats, and we have our own Cockapoo called Marmite! I have always had my own pets and have been looking after all different types of animals since I was young, from dogs to cats, to gerbils, hamsters, Guinea pigs and even albino hedgehogs and snakes! We love being in the company of animals and have plenty of space at home to share with them, or do home visits if needed. We share the house with our 3 year old male Cockapoo Marmite, who is very well trained and loves interacting with other dogs. He gets on with all breeds and sizes, and also puppies - which we are happy to look after, even if they aren’t fully toilet trained yet!

I would highly recommend Hetty as we’ve been more than happy with the service she provides and the updates she sends. We hadn’t left Bailey before so to hear that he settled in well and loved being with Hetty, Ben and Marmite was music to our ears and so reassuring.

We live in a 3 bedroom townhouse, with a great enclosed garden in WA7, Sandymoor for your pup to run around and have easy & safe access to the toilet. We live opposite a large field and have easy walking access to numerous beautiful walks (away from main roads) - with woods, fields and streams nearby (should your dog love splashing about in the water!). We are both also avid walkers and enjoy going to new places on the weekends, so if your pup enjoys longer walks we are happy to take them with us. Our dog Marmite spends 90% of his walks off leads (away from roads) so if you’re happy for your dog to roam free with Marmite please let us know and we will accommodate your request. Otherwise, your dog will be on a lead at all times during walks, for that added safety. We are happy for them to come and join us on the sofas and upstairs in the house/bedroom (if that’s what they are used to!). Also happy to crate your dog if your dog is crate trained.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or medical concerns, and I will make sure they are well looked after. I live directly opposite a vet, so should there be any concerns whilst you aren’t around, with your consent I’m more than happy to take them. Please let me know if your dog is lead trained, or prefers to walk off lead and if they have good recall. If you think there is anything important behavioural wise, please let me know (e.g. if they don’t like to be left alone, if they are nervous of certain things etc)
A typical day
I love to go for long walks, around where I live and also in new places, so if your dog enjoys having a good run or taking lots of sniffs outdoors then I can ensure they won’t be bored! I also love to play games, and have a few different puzzles and toys to keep them engaged and mentally stimulated!

Availability
I work from home full-time, and Ben is home in the evenings throughout the week. We are available for day sitting, walking or boarding any day throughout the week or weekend for all sizes and breeds of dogs/puppies and pets (other than cats staying in the house). I am also able to do home visits, as my work schedule is extremely flexible to allow me to fit visits throughout the day/evening for any cats/dogs and other pets.
