Nothing beats a day with a cute dog
Pet care experience
I've taken care of animals in Haiti from dogs and cats to cows and goats. I wash them and feed them and take them to pasture. In America, I've been able to interact with family friends' dogs, taking them for walks out of the apartment and picking up after them when they go to the bathroom.

Helene has always loved animals even though we can’t have dogs at home. She has always been good with the animals at the farm in Haiti, which is why I think she would work well with other animals here as well.

I'm interested in dog walking. I prefer small to medium sized dogs on a leash. Making sure the dogs are safe and happy are my priority. I am a very careful person when it comes to traffic so I will wait for the light before crossing the streets and make sure the dogs exercise for a healthy amount of time when I am with them.

A typical day
When you leave your dog with me, I'll play with him so he can get comfortable with me, let him smell my hand for a little bit. I'll take the dog to the reservation near my house where we can go on a short hike together, getting to know some new sights, sounds, and smells to stimulate the dog both mentally and physically. I'll have water with me for when the dog is thirsty.

Availability
I currently work evening shifts. I'm only available to walk dogs early in the morning from 8am-12pm. But my schedule is fluid. I may not be able to work on certain days one week, then be available on those same day the next week.
