Pet care experience
My partner and I have been involved with dogs and cats from a very young age. We have assisted with walking, feeding, vet visits, playing games with them such as fetch, hide and seek as well as training them to do tricks like paw and roll over. I have attended several training dog classes with my parents collie/huntaway. We have been responsible for looking after dogs and cats whilst parents have gone away on holiday. We love to walk and explore new places.

Lovely, caring dog sitters. Henry sent pictures throughout the sit to keep us updated and we were so happy leaving the puppy with them. They have looked after her beautifully and she has obviously really enjoyed herself. We have already sent through our next dates for them to look after her again. We would thoroughly recommend this lovely couple!
Charlie (our Labrador), settled in straight away after the first meet with Henry. When discussing day to day routines, Henry listened and made note of all the requirements. I was given regular updates. All of this gave me the reassurance needed to get away for the weekend. When I picked up Charlie, I could tell that he felt at home and relaxed. You can trust Henry and Ellen to look after your special friend! I will recommend their services.
What a great experience. Peace of mind as we knew Thalia and Freya were being well looked after in a great setting with kind and reliable people. Can’t recommend highly enough!

We have a garden to the rear of our house which is secure. We are a 5 minute walk from the Newmarket Gallops which provides over 10 miles of walking to include areas of woodland. We would ensure that they get the walks they need along with mental stimulation.

A typical day
We will go on plenty of walks to include the local gallops which is open green space with some wooded areas. We have several forests nearby and if the dog or dogs can travel, may have a few trips to the nearest beach. We love to explore new places so new smells and experience for the dog(s). At home, we would mentally stimulate the dog(s) and give it attention but also space when it would like it.

Availability
My partner and I work 9am till 5:30pm five days a week in the office which is based in Cambridge but we do not work weekends. If you would like us to take a dog(s) for longer than 3 days, we can accommodate this as long as the owner is happy for the dog(s) to be left alone during the working week between 9am and 6pm. We occasionally work from home during the week as flexi working is allowed. We have plenty of time in the evenings and are free majority of the weekends to look after animals so will have plenty of time to walk the dog(s). We would visit the forests, the beach or walk the local gallops which are a five minute walk from our house which offers over 10 miles of walking and open space for the dog(s) to run about and play.
